Berlin-Paris Young Researchers Workshop on Stochastic Analysis with Applications in Biology and Finance

The Departments of Mathematics of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Technische Universität Berlin together with the Weierstrass Institute for Analysis and Stochastics are orgazing the first Berlin-Paris Young Researchers Workshop on Stochastic Analysis with Applications in Biology and Finance.

The focus of this workshop is on recent advances in stochastic analysis and its applications in mathematical biology and stochastic finance, that span the mutual interests of researchers in Berlin and Paris. The workshop is an opportunity to establish new relations between researchers in Berlin and Paris and strengthen existing ones.

Keynote lectures will be delivered by

  • Jochen Blath (Technische Universität Berlin)
  • Ulrich Horst (Humboldt-Universität)
  • Sylvie Méléard (École Polytechnique)
  • Sylvie Roelly (Universität Potsdam)
  • Mathieu Rosenbaum (Université Pierre et Marie Curie)
  • Nizar Touzi (École Polytechnique)

There will also be 16 talks by PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and young faculty members.

Organizers: Peter Bank (TU Berlin), Roxana Dumitrescu (HU Berlin), Romuald Elie (Marne-la-Valée), Caroline Hillairet (ENSAE), Noemi Kurt (TU Berlin), Antonis Papapantoleon (TU Berlin), Dylan Possamaï (Paris Dauphine), Sergio Pulido (ENSIIE), Charline Smadi (IRSTEA)
